Congress 2nd list: 33 out of 43 backward faces,4 women; Age of 25 under 50

New Delhi : The dates of the Lok Sabha elections (Lok Sabha Elections 2024) are to be announced soon. Before that, all the

parties are busy choosing their candidates. The Congress on Tuesday announced the second list of Lok Sabha candidates. There are 43 candidates in this list. The Central Election Committee of the Congress has finalized 43 candidates for Assam, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand and Daman and Diu seats. Earlier, 39 names were announced in the party's first list. In this way, Congress has announced 82 names so far. 76.7% of the candidates in the list are below 60 years of age. The list includes 12 candidates from Assam, seven from Gujarat, 10 from Madhya Pradesh, 10 from Rajasthan, three from Uttarakhand and one from Daman and Diu. According to the list released by the

Congress, 10 candidates are from the general category. There are 13 candidates OBC, 10 SC, 9 ST, 1 Muslim and 4 women candidates. Of these, 25 candidates are less than 50 years of age, while 8 candidates are between 51-60 years.
